Jane Frances Munduru is a distinguished cardiac and public health nurse, a healthcare administrator, and a community health advocate with over 20 years of experience. Having spent the majority of her career at the Uganda Heart Institute (UHI), she has played a pivotal role in managing cardiac cases, mentoring healthcare professionals, and driving healthcare innovations. Currently, she leads the medical division at Tripplex Uganda Ltd, ensuring that Tripplex Medical Center upholds the highest standards in diagnostics, imaging, heart health, and family care.
Beyond her clinical and administrative expertise, Jane Frances is also the Finance Director at Tripplex Uganda Ltd, overseeing the company’s financial sustainability and ensuring that its healthcare, hospitality, and lifestyle divisions thrive.

Experience & Key Achievements
As a specialist cardiac and public health nurse, Jane Frances has been instrumental in shaping nursing practices at UHI, where she supervises over 80 nurses. Her leadership involves training, coaching, and mentoring healthcare professionals, ensuring they are equipped to handle the demands of cardiac care.
Beyond hospital walls, she co-founded an annual community health screening camp in West Nile, where she leads a team of healthcare professionals in providing preventative healthcare services to vulnerable communities. This initiative focuses on non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, offering early detection, education, and intervention.
Jane Frances’ passion for community service also extends to her involvement in Rotary International, where she and her husband contribute to disease prevention, environmental management, and clean water initiatives—impacting lives not just locally but across Uganda and beyond.

Personal Motivations & Passions
Jane Frances attributes her strength to faith, family, and service. As a devout Catholic, she draws inspiration from her faith and sees her work as a calling to serve and uplift others. She is passionate about mentoring young nurses, expanding healthcare accessibility, and establishing a charity foundation dedicated to supporting the elderly and vulnerable populations.
Her aspirations include pursuing a PhD in Public Health, furthering charitable healthcare initiatives, and embarking on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Jane Frances believes that technology is a game-changer for gender equality, opening doors to education, employment, financial inclusion, and healthcare advancements. She advocates for greater female participation in digital innovation, particularly in healthtech, telemedicine, and digital finance, and calls upon governments to ensure digital access for all, particularly the most vulnerable communities.
